Humans have sent many missions to explore the beauty of heaven space, both manned and robotic humans. Now and later, the explorers we have a lot to capture the image of the earth from space with a point of view is very beautiful. Here are some of the famous images of the beauty of the earth through space perspective. We start from number 10, cekidot!
10. Earthrise / Earth rises
The
photo became an icon when the earth was first published in which is
enshrined by the astronauts while orbiting the moon by Apollo 8 apolo
who was circling the far side of the Moon for. The photo shown here in its original orientation, though more often seen with the moon's surface at the bottom of the photo.
9. Breathtaking shots Galileo
Earth photo was taken by the Galileo spacecraft on December 11, 1990, while in flight three-year mission to Jupiter. Antarctica is visible at the bottom of the image, and the dawn broke over the Pacific Ocean.
8. Earth and Moon
This
image is a photograph of the Earth and Moon in a single frame, the
first of its kind ever taken by a spacecraft, was recorded 18 September
1977, by NASA's Voyager 1 at a distance of 7.25 billion miles from
Earth. Earth seen several times brighter than the Moon.
7. While pursuing a comet
European
Space Agency taking infrared pictures for flying around the Earth in
early March 2005 when the comet chase missions Rosetti Comet
67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
6. Far From Home: Apollo 17
Astronaut
Harrison Schmitt, Apollo 17 pilot module, look at this photo of the
earth taken right in the end he was holding a U.S. flag on a mission
when NASA landed on the moon. The photo was taken at the Taurus-Littrow landing site while Schmitt is doing extravehicular activity (EVA).
5. Journey to Mercury
MESSENGER spacecraft's Earth flew on August 2, 2005 to get to Mercury. The
aircraft is not only adapted to the characteristics of the terrain on
Mercury, but also a variety of instruments to determine the
characteristics of the elements that exist on earth. The photo on the left is an image taken by a camera with a wide range of wavelengths. On the right was taken with a wavelength near-infrared wavelengths. The red color is a reflection of the plants
4. The journey to Mars
After
traveling more than 727,000 miles in three days, surveillance cameras
Mars is pointing towards the Earth on August 15, 2005. The main purpose of the surveillance cameras to get a picture that shows the daily weather activity on Mars.
3. Earth from Saturn
This
image taken by the Cassini spacecraft cameras wide-angle on 15
September 2006, at a distance of 1.3 million kilometers from Saturn and
about 930 million miles from Earth. Moon Enceladus also teritangkap camera left wrapped in a bluish tint and ice particles in Saturn's E ring
2. First of Mars
This is the first picture of the Earth taken from the surface of a planet beyond the Moon. It was taken by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit one hour before sunrise on the 63rd day of exploring Mars mission. earth seemed too small to be captured by a camera at the time.
1. The pale blue dot
The
first part of the "family photo" solar system taken by Voyager 1 in
1990 at a distance of more than 4 billion miles from Earth where the
earth looks like a point of only 0.12 pixel. With
such a small size, Carl Sagan, Voyager advocate commented: "A lonely
speckle in the eye that are wrapped by the breadth of the universe is
dark. To
me, it underscores our responsibility in maintaining and 'stroking' the
pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known, a friendly and
compassionate.
